Hi, I'm Thao, I'm a QA Engineer with 1.5+ years of experience building quality into enterprise web applications and SaaS CRM platforms. I thrive at the intersection of manual testing intuition and automation engineering — from crafting comprehensive test plans to writing Playwright scripts that keep regression cycles fast and reliable.

Most recently, I played a key role in a full Salesforce-to-SugarCRM migration — designing and executing functional, integration, and E2E tests across the entire Service Module, building Postman API collections for cross-system validations, and establishing post-launch automation coverage. I care deeply about understanding the product end-to-end, which is why I actively partner with BAs, developers, and stakeholders to make sure quality is built in from day one.

  1. Associate QA Engineer | OPSWAT

    May 2025 - Present

    Promoted to Associate QA Engineer while continuing to lead quality assurance for a company-wide CRM migration from Salesforce to SugarCRM.
    Owned test coverage across the full Service Module — designing and executing functional, integration, and end-to-end test plans in close collaboration with BAs, developers, and stakeholders.
    Participated in UAT sessions and user training during the go-live phase.
    Post-launch, established a Playwright regression automation suite to provide reliable, repeatable coverage across core Service Module functionality.
    Participated in troubleshooting issues in production environment to reproduce and follow up on the resolution.

  2. QA Intern | OPSWAT

    November 2024 - May 2025

    Joined OPSWAT as a QA intern and contributed across two concurrent products — a Salesforce Service Console and an internal data insights web application.
    On the CRM side, tested Service Console and Omni-Channel live chat features, while using Postman to validate custom API integrations between the CRM and the Customer Portal.
    On the internal web app, combined functional and exploratory testing with Python scripting for database-to-UI data accuracy checks, and ran performance tests using Locust to assess system stability under load.
    Managed test cases and defect lifecycle end-to-end in Jira throughout both projects.
